This is a great opportunity to meet your teachers, practice opening your locker, find your classrooms, and get excited for an amazing school year!

During last night's School Board meeting, we proudly recognized Headley Bowis, our VHSL Indoor Track 1600-Meter State Champion!

As a freshman at West Point Middle/High School, Headley captured the state title in the 1600m and received her State Championship ring. She was celebrated in front of a packed room of family, friends, teammates, coaches, and school staff.

Congratulations, Headley! Your Pointer family is incredibly proud of you! 🧡💙

Beginning June 8, selected students (by invitation only) will participate in Summer Camp Academy: Retreat into Reading.

Unlike a traditional summer school program, Summer Camp Academy combines:
✨ Engaging literacy instruction
🔬 Hands-on science experiences
🎨 Enrichment activities
📖 A shared reading adventure with The Islanders by Mary Alice Monroe

Students will also enjoy exciting learning opportunities with our partners at the Wildlife Center of Virginia and the Virginia Living Museum.
