Our Life Science students got hands-on with plant cells by creating their very own plant cell models using Play-Doh! 🎨

As they built their models, students reviewed the different parts of a plant cell and discussed the important job each organelle does to keep the cell functioning.

From the cell wall to the nucleus, students brought science to life in a colorful and creative way! 🌿

Learning science is even more fun when you can get your hands on it! 💚

🍂🎃 Pointers Culinary: Learning, Baking & a Little Halloween Fun! 🧁🔬

Our Pointer Culinary students have been busy! From preparing, packaging, and selling homemade treats at the WPES Trunk or Treat Bake Sale to exploring the science of baking in their Yeast Investigation Lab, students are gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Students examined fresh, active dry, and instant yeast under microscopes, recorded their findings, and discovered the important role yeast plays in baking.

A big THANK YOU to our community for supporting our students and their hard work! 💙🧡
