Today, we remember Dr. King’s powerful reminder that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” His words remain just as relevant today as they were during the Civil Rights movement. His legacy challenges us to stand up for fairness and dignity for all.

REMINDER: There will be no school on Monday, January 19, as we observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 20.

Our 8th grade Science students mixed learning with holiday cheer by making Borax ornaments! ❄️🧪 They practiced measuring skills and creating saturated solutions while designing their own ornaments. It got a little messy—but a lot of fun was had!

Members of the sophomore class had an amazing experience visiting the Bridging Communities Regional Career and Technical Center! Students got an inside look at hands-on programs, cutting-edge labs, and real-world career pathways that turn interests into opportunities. 🔧💻👩‍⚕️

From skilled trades to health sciences and technology, this field trip helped students see how classroom learning connects to future careers — and sparked excitement about what’s possible after high school!

🦴🥨 Learning with a twist!
Our Health & Medical Exploration students wrapped up their Skeletal System unit by creating pretzel skeletons! Using different pretzel shapes to represent bones, students showed their understanding of how the skeleton works and fits together. Hands-on activities like this make learning fun, engaging, and memorable!

Today, our Harmonix choral group spread holiday cheer at the nursing home with beautiful carols and festive songs! 🎶🎄 Their voices truly made the season brighter.

Learn a Foreign Language Month is a great time to celebrate global learning. Research suggests that multilingualism supports improved memory and problem-solving abilities. Our world language programs empower students to build these strengths! 🌎✨

Great experience at Smurfit WestRock today! West Point students explored the paper industry, met with professional staff, learned about career opportunities, and toured the mill. 📄🏭
