Juniors and Seniors: The PowderPuff game will be held on October 27! Scan the QR code on the bulletin board across from the office (or on Mrs. Lohr’s door) to sign up to play or cheer. You can also nominate captains! See you there!

Sophomores and Juniors: only 14 test spots remain for the PSAT. Friday is the last day to register. A reminder to students who have registered online: you must pay $18 to Ms. Sheffield in the main office to complete your registration.

JUNIORS and SENIORS: An enrollment representative from Bridgewater College will be visiting next Tuesday during period 3. Sign up for the visit in the counseling office.

EVERYONE

TSA will be selling popcorn next week during 8th period for $1.00.  Stop by Mr. Barbarji’s room if you are hungry!

Fall Sports Pictures are next Wednesday, October 13th, during 8th period.  See your coaches for flyers and times.

Tonight, we will crown the 2021 Homecoming King & Queen during half-time of the Football game!  Good luck to everyone on the court!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a laser engraver? CNC Training is now available for all 9th-12th graders during 8th period on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. A google form has been sent via email to all eligible high schools and sign-up sheets are available in Mr. Barbarji’s room and the office for those who are interested. Visit Mr. Barbarji if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the WPHS Marching Band on taking 2nd place overall at Saturday’s Hanover competition. The band also took home 1st place in overall effect. The percussion section took first place in their class, and the color guard placed 2nd in class AA. A memorable performance by all!

SCA is hosting a Pumpkin decorating contest next week!  Please submit your decorated pumpkin on Thursday, October 28 and 29th to Mrs. Gay’s room (154).  Pumpkins will be on display near the front of the school for everyone to view.  On Friday, October 29th, during all lunches, students will vote on the best-decorated pumpkin!  If you submit a pumpkin to the newspaper, bring it to the SCA contest as well, your pumpkin can be in both the newspaper and SCA contest!
