Bridging Communities, Cosmetology, and Welding Information
Bridging Communities Informational PowerPoint by Julie Ellis, Executive Director
New Bridging Communities Program: Emergency Management! A one-year program that prepares students to earn the EMT-B, healthcare level First Aid and CPR, and be eligible to apply for the National Registry. The program is open to rising juniors and seniors.
Bridging Communities Programs (grades 11-12):
- Coding & Programming (Dual Enrollment with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.30
- Culinary Arts (Dual Enrollment with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.30
- Diesel Technology (Dual Enrollment with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.70
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR, Dual Enrollment with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.30
- Small Engine Technology (No Dual Enrollment, no minimum GPA for application)
Grade 12 Programs:
- Pharmacy Technician (Dual Enrollment program with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.50.
- Practical Nursing (Dual Enrollment with RCC): Minimum GPA for application is 2.70.
Welding Program:
- The welding program is offered to senior students only and is on the campus of RCC. Additional information is in the Program of Studies under the Useful Links section.
Cosmetology Program:
- The cosmetology program is offered to junior and senior students and is taught off-campus at Hair Fashions and Beauty Academy. Additional information is in the Program of Studies under the Useful Links section.
