Mark your calendars, the homecoming dance will be Saturday, Jan. 29th from 8-11 pm.  Tickets will go on sale after Winter Break.

EVERYONE

The GSA will meet Tuesday, December 14 during 8th period in the art room.

The creative writing club meeting for Dec 9 has been canceled. It will be rescheduled.

SCA will meet TODAY in Mrs. Gay’s room to prepare for our holiday activities.

CandyCaneGrams will be sold before school in the lobby and during all lunches for $0.50 December 13-16th!  Deliveries will be made daily.

Due to the 70% expected rain today, soccer conditioning has been postponed. The new date will be announced later this week.

Students staying for 8th Period are to remain with their prearranged teacher for the entire time or have a pass to go to another teacher’s classroom.  Athletes staying for a practice who don’t have an assigned classroom are to report to the cafeteria by 2:45.

Due to difficultly obtaining materials this week, drama auditions will be held on January 4th from 6:00-8:00p.m. & January 5th from 3:30-5:30 p.m., in the auditorium. January 6th will be a callback day if needed and the time will be announced.  We are planning on performing Mamma Mia in March.  If you have questions or concerns please contact Mrs. Hammond by phone or email on the school email address.

A representative from the Newport News Apprentice School will be visiting tomorrow during period 7. Interested juniors and seniors must register for the visit in the counseling office.
